Merry Christmas to all!

Dear Readers,

With one week to go until the cessation of University business, I'm sure you're all looking forward to a well-deserved break! I hope you all have a happy and safe Christmas and I'll see you all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed next year.

Here are some things to look forward to in 2009:
  • The library's new information desk, which has created much more space at the entrance to the library
  • New Subject Guides for each discipline that are user-friendly and interactive. Keep your eyes on this site: http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/subjects/
  • A new range of 'learning objects' (multimedia tutorials) on the following topics: what is a literature review, finding journal articles, finding government reports, and EndNote. They will go live in February next year: http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/skills/
  • Classes to hone your skills in database searching, systematic reviews, EndNote and more. These will be advertised here: http://www.library.usyd.edu.au/skills/health.html

Looking forward to seeing you then!

Cheers,

Kate
